This Judge was instrumental in setting up and promoting the Guardian ad Litem in Florida and has close ties to the DCF community. Then has the brass to sit on a Child Dependency bench and claim he's UN-biased?
He ignores parents civil and constitutional rights while rubber stamping the Department of Children and Families' motions whether or not they are based on fact. He never questions information submitted by DCF and the Guardian ad Litem as well as allows them to admit hearsay to further their case. In my experience he has in fact made numerous excuses to accommodate DCF's unethical tactics as well as the behavior of others involved in proceedings such as not enforcing (by charge of contempt) visitation orders that he himself has signed. He also allows DCF to commit fraud upon the court in regards to due process by way of faulty or no notification of hearings and allowing hearsay to steer his recommendations.
It's obvious to anyone who spends any amount of time in his court that he is simply a "yes man" for DCF to ramrod families through the system without fear of consequences.
He is, if nothing else, is part of the problem with the family courts here in Florida and should be removed.
