The other negative comments are on spont on in describing this judge. While Judge Estrada gave us a day in court, he ignored the law that applies. He even had us submit case law in support of our position before the hearing. Another ploy judges employ to look like they are actually making a decision. It was evident at the hearing the Judge read nothing based on the questions asked. At the end of the hearing the Judge read his ruling from a laptop so his decision was already prepared and the hearing was just for show. Yet he said the prevailing party writes the order. Well with having the ruling pre-drafted he certainly could have prepared his own order. As to our argument, we tried to explain our position to the Judge and he just didn't understand the law which was apparent from his telling us to fold up our tent and give into the plaintiff after ruling against us. Guess this one will have to be appealed to the district court. This is the second judge on this case and the last one fell asleep during the hearing a few years ago before the case got on cold storage. So we thought with a new judge there was hope. Last but not least the Judge kept complaining about the age of the case and that it should not be pending. Well he seems to forget about covid and the inability to schedule this case for hearing despite out many repeated requests. Also the new supreme court AO forcing judges to clear their dockets is something happening all over the Fla court system sadly where judges take advantage of dumping cases when you aren't looking. This Judge is cranky with a poor temperament, he should not be a judge. Just make sure to have a court reporter at every hearing and be ready to appeal.

HOT HEAD,CAN NOT STATE CASE LAWS,FAVORS PLAINTIFF BOA,DOES NOT LOOK AT EVIDENCE SUCKS AND SHOULD BE KICKED OFF THE BENCH PERHAPS I NEED TO FILE COMPLAINT WITH JOA MAY BE THE ONLY WAY I WILL GET JUSTICE.

Should not be on the bench for civil cases does not know what is in his case file .I hope for the sake of Highlands County that he is removed from the bench and replaced with a Judge that knows and follows the laws

He is a poor excuse for the court system, and should not be on the bench. He is a mean hothead and has no compassion. It appears that he does not want to be there, and so he should be removed.

This judge is excessively emotional, and even boorish, both on the bench and in interacting with other attorneys and court personnel. He also lacks the proper judicial temperament, and the ability to restrain himself. A fellow attorney I know has called him a "baffoon." This is supported by all the surveys done of this judge, including those by local newspapers. Judge Estrada should be removed from the bench, perhaps by the next election.
