What others have said about Hon. James Daniel

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: FL8273
A truly terrible human being. Has no business being on the bench. He has an awful demeanor, treats everyone like garbage, and whines like a petulant child. Without question, the worst judge in the 4th judicial circuit. There is not a close second.

Comment #: FL3898
Rating:Not Rated
It is incomprehensible how Judge James Daniel could sentence Marissa Alexander, a battered woman with two restraining orders against her batterer, and who fired a WARNING SHOT into a ceiling in self-defense, it is unbelievable that Judge Daniel cannot release this woman into her own custody without an electronic shackle and without astronomical monthly fines for her own home detention.

If Judge Daniel is too blind or too fearful to defy the racist infrastructure of Florida's judiciary and politics, perhaps he can be replaced with a judge truly responsive to ALL the women and men of Florida.
