Judge Brinkley is consistently fair and methodical in her overall approach and rulings. With that said, I’ve never gotten the opinion that she uses a “one size fits all” approach in presiding over the cases that come in front of her. She listens intently and gives each side their fair day in court and is able to properly understand and synthesize the issues to keep the proceedings organized. Her temperament is professional and she does not make emotional decisions. No complaints here.

Seems nice. Has an unfounded sense of superiority. Doesn't know how to run her calendar, won't listen to to staff that have been doing their job for 30 years.

Arrogant and not very bright. Will never say no to a PD (having been one herself). Doesn't understand that motions should be on her MOTION calendar! Her JA is useless!

Sharp as a whip. Judge Brinkley is even handed and attentive to detail in that she takes her time to review the substance of motions (what a concept!) in order to formulate and render her rulings. No rolling the dice with this judge; which is important in light of the types of cases she hears.

In my experience, she always run a tight ship which helps move the calendar along. She is patient but expects for counsel appearing in front of her to be organized and prepared (as she should). She makes it a pleasure to practice law in her courtroom. A gem of a judge in Miami-Dade.

Fantastic! 10 stars across the board. Judge Brinkley is a great addition to the bench. She knows the law, is dedicated and unwavering. She also runs a smooth courtroom and is loved by the staff and courtroom personnel. The community is lucky to have such a dedicated jurist to serve on its behalf.

Judge Brinkley is a great judge and runs an excellent courtroom. I have nothing but great experiences in front of her, even when she has ruled against me. She's well prepared, very knowledgeable and very respectful to her colleagues and to the participants in her court room. Finally, a breath of fresh air on the bench.

This rookie acting judge in DV has no idea what she is doing. Applications for TRO's are denied despite the applicant providing more than enough evidence to be approved, leaving victims of violence unprotected from their attackers. She's at the South Dade Justice Center, so head downtown where the DV judges (except for Judge Sarduy) know what they're doing.
