She is to lenient especially on a person that killed a puppy the suffering this dog endured. This individual should of done jail time not be let out if he killed an innocent dog he can kill another animal or even a human being this judge needs to have more compassion for animals and the innocent

Frankly, do not care about her history on the bench, what schools she attended, or any awards presented to her. She let an animal abuser walk free, and that is ALL that needs to be said. In what head space was she in when she made this decision. Does anyone else see anything wrong with this?!?!

she let a young man who killed a beagle pup walk free without anything..now that man will probably get another dog and do the same. His name is Matthew Milewski!! Track him down!!! Matthew Milewski should have faced a prison sentence!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judge Colodny is just downright terrible and unprofessional. I was sickened to learn of her unjust ruling of allowing a beagle puppy killer to walk free with no jail. The case was horrible and For Colodny to not even give this man even six months of jail is beyond me.

Judge Colodny truly deserves the term "Honorable Judge". She has restored my respect for the justice system in Miami-Dade!!She respects the elderly and honors their wishes, unlike many other judges.Thank God for Judge Colodny! She has our utmost respect!!

Judge Colodny commands respect! Sees through incompetent attorneys and dramatic witnesses who have nothing to offer but "fluff".She applies "the law"regardless of opposing opinions.Best Probate Judge to have.Respects the deceased and their wishes.She knows how to rightfully divide truth!

The Honorable Yvonne Colodny is the most respectable and amazing Lady Judge I've ever seen.She is kind, caring, discerning of truth and follows the Law above all.I think she sees through fake drama and liars who would stoop at anything to get their way,get "dirt"on family members to have the upper hand,disregarding the law at any cost,including disrespect for a deceased parent and their written Will.
Judge Colodny deserves all our respect!!! A true asset to our Legal community!!! Thank you Judge Colodny!

Judge Colodny is a thoughtful jurist who actively solicits input from counsel to help her make legally sound decisions. She always strives to be fair, and is one of the few judges who makes decisions based on what is right, not based on public opinion or media pressure. She is a judge who is well-versed in all areas of the law. She will explain her thought process behind her decisions if asked. Judge Colodny inspired me confidence and I know her tough but fair ruling in my son's case was at the end to help my son get back on the right path. We need more judges with her legal expertise and courage to make the right decisions.
