Comments:
Judge Perlman should be removed. I've personally seen her chum up with particular attorneys. She does not read the filings. She allows her assistant to do special favors for Perlman's favorite attorneys. Judge Perlman doesn't examine exhibits and permits proven false exhibits and rules favorably on those false exhibits. Perlman needs to be in prison, not behind a bench!

Comments:
Sandra Perlman is unfit to be a judge. Parties that appear before her should plan on an expensive lawsuit. She sets up obstacles to frustrate the parties and cause them to waste time and money. She either does not read the materials submitted prior to a hearing or only reads one side’s position. This is why her hearings on substantive issues run far too long or get continued so she can avoid ruling. When she does make substantive rulings, she has both sides submit proposed rulings and then just adopts one side’s ruling verbatim. Which means that at best, she fails to use her own independent judgment, and at worst she is biased in favor of a party or their lawyer. She is rude towards the attorneys that go before her and casually threatens sanctions without any justification. Perlman should not be on the bench.

Comments:
Sandra Perlman needs to be removed from office because she is a horrible Judge who lacks integrity and intentionally delays decisions to get litigants to "give up" to avoid further expense. In my observation, Perlman's general strategy is to create lots of "hurdles" to make the case more and more expensive and to create many unneeded delays, including refusing to decide matters, so that eventually no justice is done and instead the parties feel like they should "give up" and settle merely because the case has become too burdensome to get a fair outcome. Perlman abuses her Constitutional power as a Judge. Perlman often does not follow the requirements of the law but instead legislates from the bench. Perlman is frequently rude and disrespectful to lawyers and litigants. If the Broward County voters understood how bad a Judge Perlman is, there is no way that Perlman would be able to win election.

Excellent, fair judge. No wasting of time. Rules promptly, which is more than most judges these days. Understands the issues and reviews materials before hearing.

One of the worst judges I have ever experienced and unfortunately, she was always in a terrible mood. Coming to court to deal with her was always a joke, because you couldn't rely on the facts, you had to rely on her inconsistent and emotional rulings. No one liked having to appear before her. She would waste time on unnecessary matters, for example, consents and proposed agreed orders would be questioned and challenged. As a result of her lack of focusing on the real matters and constantly wasting time, she would never be able to complete her docket and would have to send the majority of her cases over to another judge to get the job done. In total, between her bad attitude and failure to efficiently rule on cases, she needed to be gone a long time ago.
