One of the most woefully incompetent and biased judges I've ever dealt with in my career.

Was told he was a terrible and biased judge. Did not believe it until actually had to appear before him. No more doubts now.

I've litigated cases on the East and West coasts of the U.S., state and federal. Been in this game for 36 years. Judge Rodriguez is patient. Really important rulings are made over time, once he takes it under submission. Writes his own orders when possible. If he catches you BS'ing or lying to him - watch out. Candor is important. Not the most punctual for motion calendar, usually comes in 30 minutes late. He has a very busy docket. I'd say trying a case with him is a breeze unlike some in other states that act like pompous kings and queens on the bench. He's modest, well intended, and above all else very patient which means he's attentive.

One of the all time great judges Broward has ever seen. Follows the law over politics. Kind and compassionate.

Brightest Judge on the bench in Broward County. He writes his own orders as opposed to rubber stamping like many judges who are too lazy to do their own research and writing. Absolutely brilliant and kind. Two characteristics that difficult to find in judges these days.

Good parts. He's patient and I like that. He does listen. He has a lot on his docket and often covers for Judge Maria Garcia-Woods, which adds to his workload.

When you do have his attention and the case is in front of him, you have a fair chance.

Hardest part is he's often late, and his dockets are long, you're likely to be put to the back and trailed till he gets everything else out of the way. Special sets are hard to get off the bat, so you have to keep checking and trying.

Overall he's a pretty good judge and is right there in the trenches with the litigants and the lawyers trying to solve problems.

Amazing judge. Should be on the 4th DCA. The only judge I’ve ever had that does his own research and writing for orders.

I have been in practice for 34 years & tried in excess 126 cases to verdict. This judge is THE most pleasant, thoughtful and fair judge i have had the pleasure of appearing before and being in trial with.

This judge is a plaintiff's lawyer dressed in a robe. He does not understand basic legal principals and refuses to acknowledge black letter law, even when that law is stated clearly in a Fourth DCA opinion, binding upon the Court.

As fair as they get. Not very punctual but generous with his time. Very compassionate and friendly, incl humorous at times. Consider yourself lucky if he is handling your case. A true asset to the broward district court system.
