Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: FL8082
Rating:1.6
Comments:
Judge Huey is possibly the worst Judge in Hillsborough County. He is a bias "good ol' boy that will not take the time to accurately read and interpret simple matters of law. He has had to be disqualified multiple times after discovering conflicts with opposing counsel and their clients.

Litigant

Rating:1.0
Comments:
Paul Huey is hardly anything but honorable. He is unfair and unjust. Did not even care that the opposing party violated his court order in turning in the requested documents. Regency centers is a huge multi-billion dollar corporation and instead of reviewing all the facts and evidence his decision was based on just that. I have zero faith in the court system, as it is just a business . I am sure Paul Huey somehow gets paid to grant judgements for this multi-billion dollar corporation. He ruled on a final judgement before all discovery was even turned in. Impossible for the average person to appeal based on the cost, which I am sure he is well aware of. Terrible judge.

Judge Paul L. Huey is not honorable at all. He went back on his final order! The ex-wife (who is an attorney for KEL) lied throughout the divorce. She even missed a court hearing! At the final divorce hearing, we provided documentation that showed that she was being dishonest in court. Judge Paul L. Huey made his judgement. Several months later, her attorney at KEL sent in documentation to have the order amended. He changed his ruling in her favor! She works as an attorney for a big law firm, which may have influenced his decision! During the trial he didn't want to see all the evidence! There were text messages and saved voice messages on my phone, pictures of her drinking and breastfeeding the baby to prove she is an alcoholic. Also, her own mother's story supported my case. When it is time for re-election, we need to make sure our voices are heard!
