He doesnt always want to listen to evidence before he rules it admissable. He stares at the ceiling during trial with a look of abject boredom. He is dismisive and contempetous of anyone who isn't a court officer. Yet when you prove a court officer is lying he does nothing about it.

Be prepared to provide case law in advance of hearings. This judge actually reads everything provided to him and prepares for his hearings. He makes intelligent, well-reasoned rulings and will actually give you a chance to persuade him if you think he made an error. My only negative comment is that he can be a bit short with attorneys during motion calendar.
