Terrible as a judge. Does not like to decide, probably because making tough decisions could cost him a future election. Had set hearing date months in advance on a domestic violence case trying to set aside a bogus injunction. Told us he had no time to here the case, yet it was set by his office. Had to wait 3 months for a new hearing. At the new hearing, despite new evidence sufficient to set aside injunction he said he was not going to disturb the rulilng. Had to appeal to 4th DCA which gave the proper result setting aside the injunction. The cost to my client in time and money was certainly not justice. Clearly he cares about himself, not a pleasant person.

One comment said dismiss and refile. Some times when you refile they reassign it to the same judge. Best thing is to make a paper record and prepare for an appeal in any case.

Today judges seem more interested in their bottom line to protect their position than deciding the real issues, especially when they are tough ones.

Too many judges appointed to open positions are politically connected and not really qualified to judge. They just want the out because instead of making rain they get $100K+, benefits, a rent free office, a free secretary/assistant, etc. That is a lot easier than trying to practice law.

Wow! This guy is bad, bad, bad! I can't say how bad he is. He's not smart. He's not prepared. He doesn't know what being civil to people means. He teaches his JA to be the same nasty self that he is. He doesn't care about anything but his Napoleonic complex. Very nasty and bad judge. If you get him, dismiss the case and re file it to see if you get anyone else. The door would do a better job than this guy.

There are no words to describe the master and commander complex that this judge has... I must say that he is not qualified to be a judge. Broward really needs to clean house and needs more diversity and sensitivity training.

Very disappointed. Just shoots from the hip, has pre-ordained conclusions and knows you don't have the time or resources to appeal him on the little rulings.

Awful, awful, awful. This judge has no understanding of the law. I personally saw him take four days to pick a jury in a medical malpractice case - inexcusable. One of the worst judges on the bench in Broward County.
