Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: FL979
Rating:8.3
Comments:
Judge Bryan becomes judicially senile (reaches retirement age) at the end of 2008. I dare to say that many lawyers will give him a low rating because they do not understand him and have not practiced in front of him for the last 15 years as I have. Judge Bryan is a graduate of Yale Law School and extremely intelligent and industrious. People will interpret his lack of patience with unprepared lawyers as coming across as rude and crass. Nothing could be further from the truth. Judge Bryan dishes out his folksy style of Southern justice to everyone equally. He encourages settlements and has no trouble in discussing the pros and cons of a case with the lawyers and their clients. He lets the lawyers try their own case. If you are an out-of-town lawyer and are going to practice in front of Judge Bryan, he has some peculiarities with which you need to be familiar. You are a fool if you do not contact a civil litigator in St. Lucie, Indian River or Martin Counties that practices before him on a routine basis. Unfortunately, Judge Bryan ages off the bench at the end of 2008. He will be missed by the local civil trial bar.
