Comments:
So, Judge Jolley is a force of nature and a gift to the bench. I've been practicing a while and have never felt compelled to leave comments in the RR, but I had to remark on her. The following is based on my several hours of observation before a very short matter with my client. She handled very difficult family situations with compassion, patience, and even-handedness. She obviously genuinely cares about the children AND the struggling parents. She did not rush through, she applied the principal of charity when it was called for, she applied the law correctly. I know in family law that when the ruling doesn't go your way, you feel raw and aggrieved. I don't know how anyone could feel that way about Jolley's rulings because she makes every attempt to be fair and is extremely thorough. I was highly impressed.
