I've have been in this man's courtroom numerous times as a spectator, and even as a defendant. On countless times I have seen a hateful, argumentative and rude man. He is not a good judge. He is bias and he is abusive. There is no compassion for anyone. While I understand that there may be some that are repeat offenders, some with no respect for rules and court procedures and do not deserve compassion or understanding, I have seen some cases that circumstance created Underlying issues where compassion and understanding easily could be offered. I've not one time seen this man act any way other than mean spirited, hateful, abusive, and down right childish with name calling. How can anyone allow this? Oh, he has power so if you question his demeanor you will go to jail. That's how it's allowed.

Judge Chafin is smart and hard working. He comes across as a hard ass - but in fact he is fair. I would say he is tough - but he treat everyone the same.

This Judge is awful. He is disrespectful to lawyers and the public alike. He regularly yells at people and talks down to everyone. He clearly has an ego issue and he is very unprofessional.
