Judge Cardoza's statement during sentencing of Brian Murphy that: "The Legislature has provided for a way (for medical marijuana patients to acquire their medicine) that can be done within the bounds of the law ,,," THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! There is NO legal way for a registered medical marijuana patient to acquire their medicine on Maui. This was why Director Murphy founded PWT in 2004. Please hold Judge Cardoza accountable for this erroneous statement. His Honor Judge Cardoza must now explain what that “WAY” is.
