Civil Litigation - Govt.

Comment #: IL1472
Peculiar judge. Seems to have clear grasp of the law when verbally analyzing litigants' arguments but when decision time comes, rules in complete opposition to the rule of law he laid out. Traditional jurist, if listening closely Socratic method is often employed. Brilliant. However, uneven temperament often masks brilliance. His frequent sarcasm blocks his ability to properly hear an argument, leaves the judge misunderstood by the lawyers and subsequently incorrect rulings. Overall though, clearly a seasoned litigator, generally desires the law to run his courtroom rather than the attorneys and sometimes pretty funny.

Comment #: IL1421
This man has no business sitting on the bench He is clearly not qualified and actually shows disdain for the litigants and mocks the rule of law. Worst judge I have ever encountered.

There is no way to describe this man'[ws degrading demeanor. He does not follow the rulr of law or equity in divorce cases.

he is the worst judge I have ever encountered. And that distinction comes below many other bad judges!

This judge comes straight from hell!!!

Comment #: IL1237
This judge is a biased jerk. He tells a pro se litigant that they don't have a case without any discovery being held.

He rolls his eyes at you in open court.

His demeanor is openly hostile.
There is so much more.

How do people like him get on the bench in the first place?

and then stay here?

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: IL966
He is extremely mean-spirited, and shows outward disdain for defense attorneys, except for those few he favors. For them, he will bend or break the rules.
He routinely gossips and backstabs those he dislikes or who have crossed him in the past. He exhibits what can only be described as paranoia regarding himself. He is pro-prosecution. He bullies litigants and attorneys. He was mean-spirited as a prosecutor, and nothing has changed.
