This judge is the CHIEF judge.. yet she fails to monitor or oversee her judges..yet again.. another judge who is unfamiliar with a case..does not remember he ordered mediation.. does not familiarize himself with the cases before him. DOES not even look at documents presented by a concerns parent..when a law is cited as the reason for filing a motion, a judge should KNOW the law.. and realize.. that filing a motion to protect the safety of minor children, should be addressed.. kids are being put in harms way.. time and time again..

Judge Brawka did a phenomenal job of handling a difficult case with numerous thorny legal issues. She always checked the pleadings and case law before ruling, and was fair to all parties. Due to her service as Chief Judge, she was not the trial judge in our case (sadly). Kane County is lucky to have her!

Judge Brawka does a wonderful job with the many civil cases on her docket. When she rules on a motion, it is clear that she not only has read everything submitted, but considered the arguments and done any needed research of her own. She also has a memory like no other judge I have seen - she can remember initial pleadings and their specifics years later.
