His demeanor in court is he is bias and rude to witnesses. His judgment should be reviewed. He sent my Nephew away for 3 years first time offender of domestic violence, for trying to see his son. Mainly because he missed a court date. Some of these Judges think they are GOD.

Judge Sheehan interprets the law as it is written, which is a foreign concept in this day and age. The majority of Cook county's Judiciary believe the constitution is living / breathing document. It is not. Unfortunately, judges such as Sheehan are a dying breed. The Law is no longer the law, you can thank the likes Foxx and Dart for that.

I believe if more people complained to the Chief Judge Honorable Timothy Evans maybe some of these judges especilly Judge Kevin Sheehan would change his behavior. He also should be held accountable to his bosses for unethical actions on that bench. Just my opinion.

This judge behavior in the court room reaks of personal issues being brought to the bench. He is there to administer the law based on facts, not his assumptions and his post ion of having a God complex. The scales of justice is definitely uneven in his court room. Nothing else matters, no one else matters but him. Even if he is wrong, and we all are human and he errors in judgement at times. But his superior complex shades his judgement at times. I have watched him over many cases while doing research and he shows no respect for any defendant that walks up to the bench nor their family members who come out to support their loved ones. The purpose of the court is to give everyone equal justice under the law until proven otherwise. It's understandable that Judge Sheehan was a Assistant States Attorney before becoming a judge and it's clear that he has carried that same mentality onto the bench. However because of poor decisions some people in society make it can land them before his bench. And it's like buyer beware. It appears that he doesn't believe people can change, but what does need to change is voting. We as a voting block have to research who we vote onto these benches in the courts and maybe some of the judges who should not be on the bench can be replaced by judges who are fair and impartial. This is a platform and a cause that has to be taken seriously. If someone commits a crime and all the elements of the crime are met supported by factual evidence of course beyond a reasonable doubt. Then by all means they should be removed from society. But his courtroom should not be treated like civil court. The more bodies you send to prison the more money we all make. Prisons are private institutions supported by the state and on the New York Stock EXCHANGE. There is a benefit for Judge Sheehan to send as many black men or women to prison as he can. They're a commodity to him so whether he's right or wrong in his decision making process he's the type of judge that would never admit nor apologize for his misdeeds. So when voting time comes in 2016 he needs to be voted off of the bench. It's just a matter of getting society to understand how important it is to know who you're voting over your freedom or any other court you may find yourself in. I very rarely see him bring the gavel down on Whites in his courtroom. Just my opinion and that's my constitutional right.
