This is an awful judge is just should not be on the bench he is not fair he hates men he has no regards to the law you have to force him to acknowledge the law and at that time he still has already made up his mind what he wants to do far as making a decision against the men in his court room I cannot believe cook county will have a judge on the bench that behaves in this magnitude he makes the court of law very difficult to believe in I am going to continue with my journey trying to get this i’m fair judge of the bench

He is a horrible judge. Very arrogant as well. He does not support fathers rights. He tends to side with the GAL (Guardian Ad Litem) even if they are WRONG and the evidence shows it. The GAL knows this so they do what they want. It's like they have a clique and you're not a part of it so you and your attorney's opinion does matter. I don't think he holds the best interest of the child as a priority, He's certainly not a fair judge. He doesn't listen to the fathers or take anything that they say to heart. As much as we are asking fathers to step up and be a part of their child's life, this judge is doing everything that he can to make it hard for them to do so. Who does that??? To all the fathers out there that are trying to be a part of their child's life, don't give up. Keep fighting. We have to get judges like this off of the bench. VOTE!!!!

Judge Boyd was the most professional, evenhanded, and effective judge I encountered at the Daley Center. I was extremely glad to have him as my judge.

This judge is extremely bias against women and does a lot of behind the chambers back door deals. He does not follow the law. He intentionally rips children away from mothers to give to fathers that are not capable of raising children (I.e drug problem, alcohol, advise history)

It's been 51/2 years since he ruled on my divorce. The system he represents is totally stacked against dads and men. Most lawyers won't tell you this, so you waste a year or two or 3 paying their exorbitant fees and get no justice. Even the nuttiest, sluttiest moms catch a break, so it's futile for a man to even try. Make a deal early and get it over with as fast as possible. If you remain a good Dad, your kids will come around. This judge in particular prides himself on showing up early and working late, but he's part of this anti male system, and he buys way too much of the female's tales of woe, allows opposing counsels to badger and harass you with endless and repetitive discoveries, and even threatens to jail fine, professional men and fathers as a result of the woman's make believe fears. He's a tyrant in his courtroom, so watch out and get it over with as quickly as possible.

Does not appear to have any education or training on domestic violence, trauma, or ACE’s (adverse childhood events). For any professional stepping foot inside of a family court this is unacceptable, but for a judge to be lacking this knowledge demonstrates an utter lack of concern or even curiosity about the people who’s lives will be decided upon by him. Furthermore he is incompetent on a very basic level. Allows himself to be manipulated by abusers, letting them drag cases out for extreme lengths of time—several years—does not read evidence submitted to him, or listen to testimony. This judge is worse than useless. He is damagingly incompetent, lacks basic people skills, respect or even empathy for trauma victims. Judge Boyd is overly concerned with courtroom decorum to the point of being overtly hostile. He seems to be intentionally trying to intimidate confused civilians who appear before him by interrupting their every sentence, raising his voice at them, and generally scowling at them. Boys gets an F.
