[Redacted by Ed.] . Involved with judge dolton who gave custody of child to father and killed child after knowing he was sexual abuser. Dolton was moved to different court room but Cruz and Dolton still being [Redacted by Ed.] in one of the worse counties in Illinois.

Worst judge I have ever seen in a courtroom. He should never be allowed to be in charge of making any decisions about anything law related. He clearly has no interest in the best interest of a child. It's clear he uses his position of power to boast his own public image. Poor excuse for a representative who is suppose to do right by people and uphold the law.

This man is responsible for the death of James Ryker Biel. He should of helped keep that baby safe! This man has no place to work for the courts or help families. This man should be held accountable for his mistakes!

Judge Cruz should NOT be allowed to deal with family cases at all, he does not protect children at all!

Judge Cruz lectured my children's father and I, encouraging us to get along and "figure it out for the children". He continued saying this for over 2 years of litigation while the court system and attorneys earned half a million dollars off of our inability to get along. Continually, the father of my children would disobey Judge Cruz orders, yet he was never held accountable and somehow I was always equally to blame. Judge Cruz's inability to hold a parent accountable for his/her actions is more than alarming, the children of Kane county deserve better!

Comments:
Judge Cruz took over for my case after Judge Dalton recused himself.

Judge Cruz still continues to let a man who has admitted to being a sociopath, has multiple personalities and that admitted to raping the Mother of his children, see his daughter unsupervised.

This same man also had over 500 images of apparent prepubescent children that were recognized and or identified by the NCEMC. This was certified by the EPD and was their forensic findings not an allegation.

Furthermore, my two year old child James Biel died in his custody.

Before James died Cruz had the opportunity to change custody given the emergency motion laying out everything stated.

Instead he let my son die.

He has also not reinstated my medical and educational rights despite me being with my daughter 4 days a week and the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic.

This is knowingly and willfully endangering my daughter.

I do not reccomend Judge Cruz or any Castro affiliates.

Cruz does not follow the law, makes shady deals behind closed doors with his chums, listens to horrific custody evaluators, Dr. Roger P Hatcher, and is definitely father friendly. He should not represent justice.

Judge Cruz has a tendency to ensure that no matter what lies before him that both parties are guilty of the situation. I was told when Judge Cruz was assigned to us that he is "father friendly". I found this alarming because judges should not be known to be "father friendly" or "mother friendly", but rather work for the best interest of the child.
I have been in multiple situations where my ex is in contempt, and in each case, Judge Cruz has made it a point to find me just as guilty resulting in court orders written to express that I was being held to the same standard as my ex when all along I have been doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing. Those court orders are now misleading and I have been embarrassed (to say the least) to hand those court orders over to our child's school because I have been asked why my name is in the court order as being a guilty party when it was my ex that been the reason why we ended up in court.
I think Judge Cruz's intentions are good, however, his lack in holding each individual accountable for their own behavior is disappointing to say the least.
Our initial judge when we got divorced ruled based on a hearing and Judge Cruz seems to be more concerned with making things equal (which in our case only solidifies his desire to be "father friendly") than holding my ex accountable for his behavior and realizing how this behavior directly impacts a child.
