Litigant

Comment #: IL4456
Rating:3.0
Comments:
Needs patience, single standards, and sticking with his role as an "Honorary judge"- leave out emotions, coaching and siding with favorite young female prosecutor, respecting litigants (even non attorneys) and their Constitutional rights (enabling wrongful prosecution and injustice is a sign of character weakness)

Litigant

Comment #: IL4019
Rating:10.0
Comments:
Having had my case in several DuPage County courtrooms in the past, my faith in judges was diminishing until Judge Miller was assigned my case. He closely listened to strength of the evidence of the State's case and carefully scrutinized all of their theories instead of accepting them wholesale. After many years, I now feel like the right decision was actually made in my case. More importantly, Judge Miller has restored my faith in judges again, which was very low prior to this case.

Judge Miller is a gracious jurist who treats all before him and all Court employees in a dignified and respectful manner. He is fair and even-handed and to be commended for how he runs his Courtroom.
