She would be better suited to traffic court. SOJ if your client is a POC. She prosecutes from the bench and favors her “friends.”

Comments:
It was s mistake to appoint yet another judge to the court who knows nothing other than how to prosecute a criminal case, but that is the vast majority of appointees brought in by the present and two prior Chief Judges, all of whom have never handled any civil or criminal defense cases. Other than prosecute a criminal case or otherwise represent the government, none of them could find their ass with both hands.

This Judge emerges from years of prosecuting for the District Attorney's Office and no experience whatsoever in civil cases. Notwithstanding that, she has now been given an assignment on a civil trial call, a field in which she cannot be anything other than inept. Perhaps she will grow as time goes on, but in the meanwhile she is cutting her teeth on real live civil litigants who must pay more real money to appeal her decisions if necessary. Take a substitution of judge away from this judge if possible.

I have found Judge Walsh to be one of the most knowledgeable judges on the bench. She takes the rules seriously and she will not let people violate orders. She holds people accountable. If you do what she orders and you move the case forward, you will have absolutely no problems with Judge Walsh. I thoroughly enjoy appearing in her courtroom.
