He is a bad person and bad "judge"
[Redacted by Ed.]
I took my divorce papers to a lawyer for free consultation after the divorce, since I was not able to afford one for the divorce and I just needed professional confirmation if s fraud.
The lawyer was in shock that judge Powers allowed the amount of $690 for child support which is below minimum required by the law and he calculated that my ex-husband was supposed to pay $2,500 a month!

Judge Powers' narcissistic monologue was a different story.

Verbally abusive.

Disclosed during open court that he was a divorce lawyer for 30 years, and that he has been through three divorces himself, pointed out that even he hired attorneys to represent him, but didn't point out that pro se litigants have no real voice in domestic relations court [redacted by Ed.] There is no public oversight as the Judicial Inquiry Board and the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary commission are populated by the same type of intellectually lazy and ethically bankrupt juris doctors. [redacted].

Run try to get another Judge says one thing and does another don’t look for facts

Didn’t follow through parent trying to get orders in enforced but lawyers and judge let the other parent not helping parent did go for court ordered counseling letting abuse continue

Know the signs of abuse and act accordingly family court is terrible and needs to change speak up enough is enough it’s our right

Don’t go by facts let things continue let a lawyer put a judgement on a mother that child support was going into

Don’t look at the best interest of a child please change your ways and know the signs of abuse if you order counseling get proof of reports would put a end to nonsense

Years of living in hell and finically hurt mothers

Stop looking at making money off our kids and do right

Don’t you people have a morals

Thank you for putting me through hell and my son

Bias, appears to favor woman. Facts or evidence will not help much.

Judge Powers wasn't very fair in his decision. He didn't look at the facts but rather listened to the attorney who misrepresented the truth in order for his personal gain. The legal system is flawed and this judge didn't do a thing to get the truth out but rather made a decision based on income levels. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
