Does anyone know the name of the attorney that got Judge Davenport in trouble? I think he or she could help me with my case.

I am so overjoyed that my case was transferred out of the corrupt hands of Judge Davenport. Im told from a criminal attorney that what Im writing to the judicial committee is damning information on a judge. And its all captured on the documents I requested after the trial. I no longer have to worry about fear of her reprisal from bringing the truth to light. You should all do the same and then post the letter onto the internet so anyone / everyone can read it. The corruption from the DuPage County OUTHOUSE has to end. These judge are making life decisions for us and the BIAS and sadistic punishing of women has to end. Ive felt like an Afghani woman in a Afghan courtroom without rights, muzzled with my hands tied behind my back being stoned. I hope to God, the media picks up on all of our cases and broadcasts the corruption and injustice. Judge Davenport should not preside on any bench.

Linda Davenport is and will unfortunately remain for some time because although it is no secret that she is who sure is, no attorney will risk their career and challenge her. Her colleagues don't like her either, but are too busy with their own obligations to even get involved. The media? Wait for it. This is "Chicago". Corruption Capital. It would require someone with more clout and deep pockets to take her and even then, the Fortunatos would fight tooth and nail. Sadly, the children are the ones who suffer the most. But guess what?! If you believe in God, you know that He sees all things...and when it comes to protecting innocent children?! She will pay dearly!! I actually feel sorry for her because there is nothing worse than a tormented soul. She will find herself begging and pleading for a more compassionate and merciful judgement the same way many of us have. I can't speak for anyone else, but I actually find peace in knowing that. There is no chastising, like God's chastising.

I have heard recently that Davenport is no longer a trial judge. She got removed. This is the best news I've heard all day, but we are not done with her. The media and chief justice wil;l be notified regardless. That judge is unbelievably biased. The proof will be enough for true justice to prevail. It will go media because of the damage she has probably bestowed on other families. For children to be away from those who truly love them is barbaric.

This judge needs to be dismissed and out of the judicial system. I posted before, along with an address and phone number to file complaints but surprise surprise, it was deleted by this site. Davenport has many people in her pocket and is an unfair biased person. The GAL she appointed is just as bad. Evidence that was totally contrary to anything regarding the child's well being was brought up by the opposing counsel and irrelevant to the well being of the child. It was personal between the plaintiff and the defendant. But since the plaintiff is too much of a wimp to face a little woman, he cries and cries to all that will hear. pitiful and pathetic. The unprofessionalism of the opposing counsel astounds me to this day. He and his client were giggeling like a couple school girls while the other attorney was talking and presenting closing arguments. The judge did nothing to shut them up. Of course not, my guess is the opposing counsel is running for office and his client gave him a lot of money. Same thing for the judge. She's already been charged with conspiracy and people really need to take a stand against this woman before she ruins more families.
Perhaps a class action suit should be started.

I can't speak for the other individuals that commented. However, what I can say about my case is that Judge Davenport was fair and listened to all the facts that were presented from both sides. Judge Davenport gave each party equal amount of time to argue their case and present relevant evidence. Judge Davenport showed restrained during my case when the other party became irate during the trial, she didn't use her authority and hold the individual in contempt, she allowed the case to proceed. To me that shows a judge that is on the bench to do her job and listen to the facts, not to show who has the power. For the other individuals that do not feel they were treated fairly, or feel that Judge Davenport was bias, I truly didn't see that in my case. Lastly, cases can be appealed, however the appeal process is a lengthy process where you have to prove that the judge did not rule correctly according to the law. Just because you do not agree with the verdict, does not guarantee you a reversal. Getting a judges ruling overturned is not a walk in the park.

At this point, I really don't need to reiterate what more than a dozen others have said at this point. It is all true and then some!! What I WILL say is if you find yourself going before her, no matter what side you are...R U N!! File for a "Substitution of Judge" immediately. If you case has already starting (via trial), please go to the Judicial Inquiry Board and look at the ethics rules. 8 out of 10 times, she will have broken them. We can't just sit here and complain about her and do nothing. Push...push...push. She is abusing her fire and putting precious children in danger. The little imp!!

Oh!! And if you got handed some bogus verdict, please look up the appeals process. Google: Judge Linda Davenport Appellee and see how many times she comes up!! She has been doing this for a while. Most cases, when appealled, get remanded. It just costs a pretty penny.

She needs to get off that bench

With absolutely no incriminating evidence what's so ever because there was none! you take an infant away from a nursing mother who is not on drugs, not abusive, provides stable housing and income for her and her children. All over a lying and angry baby daddy. I wish fair chances really existed. When you do all that you can to be a perfect parent but a judge-(woman who probably doesn't have kids) just totally robbed a mother of her baby. I wish I could've been there and showed her evidence of how crazy of a man she just awarded sole custody and no visitation rights to the mom. I'm just completely floored!

This judge had it out for me from the get. Without even hearing any of my story, reading any evidance, she told my lawyer that she would grant my ex custody. Months later at trial, which just happend this week, it's obvious she's going to give custody of my daughter to my ex. She is biased. She is basing her decisions off off a bogus motion that never mentioned that I mistreat, abuse, neglect or am an unfit mother to my infant daughter. The GAL was a joke, as she didn't call any of my witness', nor did she read all of the correspondance my ex and I exchanged. I am waiting for her verdict, which she gives out in 10 days via mail or email. Per Illinois general assembly, I read what factors sway a judge to grant custody to one parent over the other...I have done NONE of those things that are negative!!! I can't believe she's most likely going to rule that my infant daughter, who I've cared for every day since her birth, as we were never married...will most likely be going to live with a heartless and uncaring person who only wishes to punish me. My daughter's life will be ruined, and it will because of these people.

The order which the judge issued has "facts" which show a huge bias. One of the "facts" could never have happened. My daughter was NEVER in the courtroom and no one testified in the transcripts that she was.

A GAL, Susan O'Neill Alvarado had been appointed who intentionally didn't mention drug abuse of my ex.

It was obvious during the trial that the judge had never read what was filed. My ex still has an active OOP against him and HE was given custody?!

She is a terribly biased person. She rushes to judgment without hearing all of the facts. This is a judge who has been entrusted to make life-altering decisions, and she deliberately abuses her power. She never allows anyone to speak, so she doesn't ever listen to anyone. She is pious, snide and callous. Someone please remove this judge and spare us the compounded misery.

Was asked to respond in 21 day's via written due to being out of state, claims didn't receive response, which was filed with the courts and is even on file via follow up. This type of judge, really???!!! What about when we don't receive documents sent via mail etc, it's "what" as she said our responsibility to find out what's going on. This should be the same for the courts don't you think? Poor performance on this judges part thus resulting in contempt, yea don't think so. Very bias judge based on female needs and never wanting to hear a man's argument. May want to go back and re evaluate what she has going on in her head and heart, doesn't think she has one for male gender.

The Courtroom is her own personal amusement park, there is no Justice or Fairness with this Judge. She does not allow the lawyer or client to speak, and refuses to review documents presented to her in detail. On top of that in all divorce proceedings she immediately wants to refer you to her recommended mediator with set fees. These fees are ridiculous and the lady she recommends cannot hear, can barely walk and is ready for the retirement community. Can you Spell Kickback? We need Operation Grey lord or silver shovel in Du page County. It would be a great day to see the Fed's slap cuffs on this poor excuse for Justice.

most corrupt judges in all of DuPage county.

I have spoken to several (meaning at least six) DuPage lawyers about Judge Davenport's abilities as a judge. All agree that judge Davenport was a great family lawyer, but since becoming a judge is now extremely unreliable. She wavers in her decision-making, is extremely unpredictable from day to day, ignore the law and follows her own precedent, and the general consensus is that her courtroom is not a pleasant place to have a case, and her cases tend to become much more complicated than needed. No one likes this judge, not even the lawyers. From my personal experience with Judge Davenport, the lawyers' opinions are exact.
