Judge Mullen saw through the misdirection being put forward by counsel for a local municipality, and focused her questioning at hearing on getting him to answer the very specific and direct question for over an hour, until it became obvious he would not give an answer. Then she ruled for my client.

This Judge, as a substitute judge to a divorce case, ordered the immediate sale of the marital residence just four weeks prior to Christmas. She said it was a good time in that the house would show nicely with Christmas decoration. I was holding 62% beneficial interests in the land trust to the property. Trying to protect my children I did not want to sell the house during the discovery stage of the case and without a prior trial, knowing my husband would find a ton of excuses to get to the escrowed money thereafter. On the way out of the court room, with her black robe swaying in the wind, and without turning around, she called back cynically "and good luck to you!"

Seems to favor individuals over companies regardless of merits. Very strict treatment of one side while showing leniency towards the other.
