It is all about her. This woman makes me want to puke. I avoid her courtroom. I cannot recall a positive experience that I have had in her courtroom as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense lawyer. Horrible experience.

She is a legend in her own mind. She is not mindful of people in the courtroom whether it is lawyers, litigants, and courtroom personnel. She is notoriously late and inconsiderate of lawyers who have to be in other court houses and then have to wait for her to show up. Her behavior is so unconscionable and disrespectful to the criminal justice system. On a positive note which is very limited she held those lying cops accountable. Nevertheless, that action was one of her few if any bright spots. She still needs to be off the bench.

All these comments and one of the first google hits is she finds cops in a case dishonest.

Hmm could there be a relation? I think so. The cpd enterprise moves together.

Shes a good judge. There are many worse and some better. As judges go shes fine.

That she has the gumption and fearlessness to call out lying cops?!

Bump her by 3 points.

Most judges are too fearful of the comments you see here and the FOP to state the truth.

Kudos to the judge for doing the right thing.

I think she is a fair judge, interested in getting to the bottom of presented issues. I believe she's an impeccable judge of character and displays herself in a professional manner. I witnessed four courtroom proceeding and each were reminiscent of the same.

I recently read that the Judicial Performance Commission submitted that this person (I will not use the word Judge because she is not worthy of that title) needed to undergo a judicial improvement plan. I think it goes beyond that. She needs a behavior clinical evaluation commonly known as a BCX or in the alternative a straight jacket and removal from the bench. The latter alternative would suffice.

She is an absolutely horrible judge. She has no business serving as a judge and it is a disgraceful site to see her wearing a black robe. She has no regard for anyone other than herself. She is constantly late for court and does not have the courtesy or the dignity to apologize to the litigants, court personnel, and the people in the courtroom. She once wasted the courts time by looking at photographs that a defense attorney showed her while people and other lawyers were waiting for the cases to be called. That was totally inappropriate and despicable. I will avoid her courtroom as if it is afflicted with EBOLA. She is one of many judges in Cook County who simply do not know how to conduct themselves with decency, dignity, and humility. Her behavior is totally reprehensible.

This judge is the worst: she is unfair, and doesn't work by the book. She has sentences with no background at all for the maximum of jail time -- no probation, no boot camp. She works based on how she feels that day, and if she doesn't feel that she likes you, she takes it personal, like you have done something to her. She's always late, but if you are late she will lock you up. She should have been off the bench years ago.

I've taken a few criminal justice classes where I've had to observe the courtroom process and I must say that this judge is by far the worst and most unprofessional I've witnessed. She's usually half an hour minutes late, which means that another judge has to sit in for her. You can't efficiently judge people if you're not together yourself; she should take a long break from the bench.
