My husband, daughter and I came in to petition the court for my daughters adoption. My husband is her stepfather. He’s the only man she considers her dad. We were all nervous. Judge clay-Herron was so personable and was such a lady with a capital “L”. Not only is she smart, beautiful and a judge, she was warm and just so compassionate. My daughter said to me, I wish she was my aunt so we could go visit her.. so sweet! I could go on all day. She was a total pleasure!

Very personable and professional during name change hearings. Made an effort to connect and was very respectful in not using birth names, only calling petitioners by the name they were requesting to change to. Very efficient.
