Mr. Hambright represented me on two different legal cases before he became a judge. He was an outstanding attorney. I am sure he is an outstanding judge.

Outbursts in court, berating one time the defendant, the next time the plantiff. Speeches, meandering rambles, arrogant about HIS court. Didn't seem to remember from one hearing to the next hearing the facts of case. Didn't seem prepared. Having not spent much time in a court room I thought he was just a nasty bully. Interrupted plantiffs attorney time and time again while engaging in "bully buddy talk" with defendant attorney. Disrepectful of those in the court and the judicial system in general. At an evidenciery hearing didn't let anyone ask or answer ANY questions. All about him.

Hambright is a judge that demonstrates bias for the leading eviction court firm attorneys. He is overly cozy with them and will let pro se defendants know it with a long winded pompous speech about "his court" if a pro se client attempts to file any motion adverse to the clouted firms. When you hear the Judge ramble for 10 min, accept you will not get fair bench ruling. Always request jury trial if pro se. And get a court reporter as he will go out of way to stop defendant from entering answer and pleadings if valid rule 137 sanctions against opposing counsel. He will even allow his big firm buddies to withdraw suit in middle of bench trial if it is going poorly. He will deny defendant chance to even speak or enter evidence of fraud which would result in final decision to dismiss with prejudice. This judge was made after his wife was sued by CPS board of education for fraud in 2004. He was appointed in 2005, forever beholden to those that made it a whisper and got off sun times and tribune pages. Request transfer to Leonard Murray if pro se. Vote NO to remove him next election he on ballot
