Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: IL196
Rating:7.4
Comments:
Judge Bartkowicz did a fine job in handling the pre-trial aspects and trial of the civil case I worked on in front of him. He actually read and considered the briefs of both parties, which is more than can be said about many Cook County judges. The case moved slowly, but that doesn't appear to be unusual in Cook County either.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: IL188
Rating:3.0
Comments:
A nice man who should have retired a long time ago. He seems to have little interest in moving his cases to resolution.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: IL103
Rating:5.0
Comments:
Provides weak reasons for some rulings, typically seeking to avoid granting summary judgment for defendants. Tends to be pro-plaintiff.
