Edidin has a kind heart and its clear that she wants to be able to help if and whenever possible. She does seem to provide individuals with second chances to those that have demonstrated that they need a second chance. The problem with that is that there are some people that should not have another opportunity and the evidence does indeed support that. We should have more people with a kind heart but as previously mentioned, we have to stick to the facts and evidence. Other than that, Edidin is a really sweet individual.

This judge is absolutely terrible. She is extremely biased in favor of the State's Attorney on almost every issue even when the evidence is to the contrary. She also lacks knowledge about the law on fairly simple issues that greatly affect defendants' lives. On numerous occasions, we presented her with firm evidence to support specific motions, and the judge did not even read them over or consider the evidence. Each time she automatically ruled in favor of the State's Attorney. Furthermore, she will make statements about the case that she later retracts and claims she never made, which causes frustration and chaos beyond belief. The harm that has been caused to me at this point is irreparable, but I pray other people will read this review and carefully consider if they want this judge to preside over their case or not.

She is a very kind and decent person, who treats everyone with respect and dignity. She tries very hard each day to be a good judge. She is a wonderful person who continues to strive to be the best judge possible.
