Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:1.0
Comments:
Judge Reyes, in my opinion only, is not a good Judge; he wastes time over small things like somebody failing to dot an "i"; he routinely insults attorneys and people.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: IL316
Rating:3.0
Comments:
Judge Reyes runs an incredibly inefficient courtroom. Due to the nature of foreclosure cases, there are often several parties to a case. Judge Reyes will not allow motions to be piggy backed... ever. As a result, if 6 parties file 6 motions in short order, it necessitates 6 court appearances. The results included a backed up docket and huge waste of attorneys' fees. Judge Reyes also is ridiculous when it comes to approving expenses for receivers. I think Reyes is trying to appear frugal, but instead he drives costs up. He isn't reasonable, likes to hear himself talk and isn't incredibly bright. Obviously an appointed judge.
