I watched as this judge denied a father's request for a protection from abuse order in the name of his 3 children after the children made claims of abuse in court and to a DHHS worker. DHHS/Child Protective Services did a month long investigation and indicated the mother for moderate abuse and neglect, and testified in court that the children should remain in the primary custody of their father. Judge Douglas denied the PFA request, even after speaking to the 2 older children, and ORDERED the father to return them to their abusive mother. He should be yanked off the bench.
