It is a sad sad day, a travesty when an honest and hard working citizen (who has worked for the courts in a different county and has spend years advocating for those at risk) and a retired service member go to the court because a degenerate POS threatens to shoot us and because we are in the God Awful state, are afraid to defend ourselves because criminals are glorified. This "judge" was atrocious. He was rude, callous, nasty, would not allow me to speak, and minimized the fact that a POS threatened to shoot us. I have NEVER seen a "judge" act in this manner! I've have been before this judge with clients, and he was kind and caring but with me.....I wasted my time. He has no business working with victims. Maybe if I get shot, they will erect a statue of the POS making the threats. This is a travesty! Maryland courts should be ashamed of themselves!

Worst judge in Maryland! He looks through the docket and cherry picks cases. We were called to his court room last second. I truly believe this judge is on a power trip because he over ruled every objection and allowed the plaintiff to slide on 2 occasions where she lied under oath. This man already made up his mind before testimony and disregarded everything the defendant said. His actions only harbor abusive neglect for temporary protective orders by ruling based on a "feeling" the plaintiff had verses facts, testimony, and statutes or judging guidelines. Mr. Spencer should be removed from his throne and replaced by a prudent judge.

Horribly rude, does not speak loud enough to be heard and then is angry when asked to repeat. A complete courtroom bully. I read some good things he has done off the bench, and he is probably a very decent person, but not of the temperament to be a judge. Second worst judge I have ever appeared before in many years of practice.

I tried a case in front of Judge Spencer and he seemed angered that I tried the case. He had made up his mind before the trial even started and my client did not get a fair trial. The sentence imposed however was very reasonable. Judge Spencer does not appear take the time to listen to the arguments but seems to make up his mind before you even open your mouth.

Update on Comment# MD5990: I wrote a letter the Judge John McKenna, who overturned the FTA and the warrant attached to it. I was given a new trial date with Judge Laura Robinson, who is more familiar with the Constitutional Right to Travel procedures. I lost, but it was to my understanding that that was the way it was suppose to be. It was a more compromiseable lost. This is going into appeals at the Circuit Court.

The impression I got from him was rather standoffish, cold, methodical and emotionally disconnected from all the cases he heard. I tried to represent myself with the Constitutional Right to Travel and he gave me a FTA. I realize there are people out there that are doing this for their own agenda, but I am the real deal for the right reasons. I believe we have the Right to Travel w/our private property without taxes, fees and fines attached only assessed to balance the State's budget. I was ready to plea my cause to the State but the prosecutor wanted me to plea guilty. My license was renewed and my car was impounded. I had nothing to lose. But the judge bowed out giving me a FTA on what I call "a defensive technicality". He didn't want to hear it. 0830JHL-DC AACo

Judge Spencer presided over my final peace order hearing. He was fair to both sides. I'm glad he had the wisdom to see I was entitled finalizing my peace order. Thank you.

I appeared before Judge Spencer for the first time today. He handled a very large docket quickly and efficiently, giving respect and deference to all who appeared before him. He is obviously a very intelligent man, but also one who is kind and professional. I feel that Judge Spencer is a credit to the Anne Arundel County District Court bench and the Maryland Bar.
