This judge gave a child murderer a 4 year sentence; once released he killed his second child. This judge lacks common sense and puts lives at risk but not locking away violent criminals.

Comments:
I recently had the pleasure of appearing before Judge Doory for a rather long criminal trial in Baltimore City. Though I had appeared in his courtroom for administrative issues in the past, this was my first experience having him as a trial judge. Judge Doory was completely fair and unbiased at all stages of the proceedings, and whether he ruled against us, or for the State, his analysis was always spot-on. He gives lawyers the right amount of latitude to try their case without letting a trial turn into a circus. Most importantly, he is truly a nice guy, which made 10-plus days of trial less exasperating than usual. I've appeared before almost all of the city's judges, and I'd have to say that he and Judge Fletcher-Hill are the very best.
