Nice enough guy, fairly decent temperament on the bench, but not the best listener and more than a bit pompous. Can be very patronizing to parties and counsel. In truth, the only reason he became a judge was because his father was a legendary, big-time political operative who pulled the strings and made it happen. A little too full of himself, all things considered,

Judge Green only listens to one side the one filing the suit, and not both. His wife came in court room so everything had to stop. His wife then called on phone and got mad that they were suppose to have lunch. He got frustrated and gave his ruling on somethings that were lies and not the truth. I believe he is the worst judge that I have ever had.He needs to investigate more into the cases and not listen to only one side of story. He believes the man over the woman.

In August 2019 he refused to grant my restraining order. I had large visible bruises on my left arm. He agreed with the defendant, that I hit myself. That defendant continued his abuse and unstable behavior, which resulted in him killing himself and murdering a woman. It could have been me or my child. He is racist and sexist. He is also responsible for the murder - suicide. Had he granted my protective order the assailant could not have purchased or possessed a firearm.

Judge Green is my favorite state court judge. He is punctual, civil, and practical, which I think all stems from a strong work ethic.

When Mr. Green was still an atty he threatened me before a hearing telling me if I proceeded with my complaint he would personally ensure I never saw my child again. He went on to lose the case. I’m not sure Honorable will ever be a fitting title ... good always wins.

Has ruled for me; has ruled against me; has always ruled correctly. Respects the attorneys before him if they are prepared as they should be. Works harder than the vast majority of judges.

Leo Green is a disgrace to the Judicial process. He's that little boy, who had no control or power growing up. Special Appeal should be every victims answer to bring awareness. #Stay in the fight...

Bias against pro se litigants and automatically defer to the Banks and Corporate lawyers without trying the cases on the merits. Attempts to deflect attention to the matters at hand by making jokes. I'm incline to think that the majority of the Prince George's County judges and the clerks need to be thoroughly investigated. I was under the impression the Judges which are suppose to be objective parties in the cases they preside over. It appears that the judges basically always ruled in favor the CORPORATE attorneys and the rights of the general public citizens do not stand a fair chance. Much shenanigans are going on in the Circuit Court.

This judge simply ignored the status hearing I was there for and sided with JPMorgan Chase to have the case dismissed. Didn't bother to inform me that it was being changed to a dismissal hearing...said the office just put them together and may not have had a chance to properly notify me. I lost my case needless to say. I feel my case should be heard and I should be properly informed when changes occur with a case I'm a party to. JPMorgan Chase continues to be negligent and this judge lets them have their way.

I have to be, honest. When I discovered who, my case was assigned. My research began. I found very little positive, about this Judge. I checked his Educational background. My first instinct was. He probably knows the Defendants. I decided that....No matter what. He would not be able to attempt, to screw me over. In the beginning, I watched the way that HE, conducted himself in his COURTROOM. I couldn't gage him. Other than the obvious. His insatiable need to entertain litigants. I now know. Its a distraction tool. He apoers, Easy going and Fair. He is a Judge of Integrity. All of the Negative comments, are TRUE!....All of the positive comments are offering....NO DOUBT....To those Attorneys he gave FAVOR. If you are assigned this Judge. Watch the Dockets!!.....If you have time, and CONCRETE LEGAL GROUND....AND PRO SE....REQUEST ANOTHER JUDGE.

One of the worse judges I have ever appeared before. He never gives the parties a hearing on their motions. He grants and denies motions without giving any legal rationale. He defers to his buddies, those lawyers who he knew before he put on his black robe.

I observed a PI trial Judge Green presided over. He is intelligent, fair and attentive. Respectful to counsel and the jury. He thoughtfully considers the arguments. When warranted, he puts his ego aside and will reconsider his position to ensure fairness. Great Judge.

He was unprepared in first hearing before him and acted belligerently towards me as defendant's counsel. I wonder who appointed this judge to the bench and why?

He may benefit from some professional mentoring or counseling, if available.

Terrible, terrible judge...talks more like a reformed mobster than a professional...wonder if he has mob connections or a criminal history? He seems to believe unfounded allegations of criminality or fraud, even when not clearly supported by the facts. He imputes improper motives and questions accused (in a civil case) as if accused has a criminal history or is already convicted of a crime...without any facts on record to support such imputation!

Judge Green should serve as the "model" for all other trial judges. Friendly to all, courteous to all, smart, accommodating to schedules etc. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this Judge.

Judge Green is an excellent judge because he had extensive criminal and civil litigation experience as an attorney before coming to the bench. Generalists in law tend to be better at seeing all the sides of an issue than their bureaucratic compatriots who spent all or most of their formative years in government before taking a seat on the bench. A good sense of humor also helps regardless of where you came from.

I have appeared before trial judges throughout the state, and I have met no one that was more unprofessional than Judge Green. I have seen him be rude and condescending to litigants. He makes up the law to suit the ends he wishes to reach, and he will only back down if you: 1) stand your ground; and 2) have solid case law to back you up. Some may say that he's "testing" the people before him, but I see these bullying tactics as an affront to the dignity of the judiciary. I have tried to meet the man halfway, and to consider the difficulty of the job, etc., but there's really no excuse for this kind of conduct.

I had a civil suit against the county in front of judge greene in 2012. He was very unprofessional towards my attorney constantly attempting to bully & badger him from his bench. judge greene in my opinion is the county's fullback always attempting to perform blocks for the county attorney by any means necessary. Although my attorney prevailed and I won my case I can only imagine how many
litigants have encountered numerous bias blocks by judge greene that allowed the county to prevail.

I had the pleasure of trying a motor tort case in front of Judge Greene earlier in 2012. He could not have been nicer or more even handed to both sides. He has a professional, but commanding, handle on his courtroom and runs a tight ship. While I did not completely agree with his choices of all proposed jury instructions, his decisions made sense and were made fairly.
Know your case, be prepared, and you will always be treated with respect and given a fair shake with Judge Greene.
