This Judge once again has failed on top of an already bad track record as a judge in Maryland Courts. The mistake she made this time unfortunately turned fatal for a very successful man who only turned to the Maryland Court System for Personal Protection and was denied that. Based on Publicly known facts about this judge, suspension shouldn't even be a issue. She needs to be permanently fired.

I'll second the opinions provided in the previous rating. Judge Russell doesn't handle her courtroom very well. Some of that is inexperience, but I don't see it getting better if she doesn't keep an open mind - and there's nothing in her demeanor in court that makes me think there's any chance she would ever keep an open mind. Unfortunately, she's just another poorly selected jurist in city courts, and one of the many reasons Baltimore City courts have such a bad reputation for litigating.

Rude to legal counsel. Biased toward tenants. I suppose in her mind if she bends over backwards to be courteous to pro se litigants and crass, rude, disrespectful toward those in the legal profession, that will somehow elevate her in image and stature. Rules of civility and courtesy work both ways. She's terminal in the district court. It's a small world, and she'll have to live in it outside the courtroom walls.
