` My 17 year went to court and the officer didn't show. Instead of the judge informing my son of dismissing the case he asked my unknowing son how he plead. THIS GUY NEEDS TO GO. HE HAS NO ETHICS.

A very nice man who was an excellent Defense Attorney. He is one of the worst judges I've been before when it comes to temperament and bias. He has a complete inability to view a defendant as innocent. He really shouldn't be on the bench for that reason. I really had a lot of faith in him and was an incredible disappointment!

Judge Nunn's departure from the criminal defense bar was a loss to the overall quality of the defense bar in Kent County, but the community's great gain in a judge. In a good way, Judge Nunn's decision making is firmly grounded in equity, which is so important in the lower courts.

I tried a case in front of Judge Nunn and I can honestly say he is the BEST judge I have ever encountered. Even though I lost on the verdict both my client and I both felt we had an absolutely fair trial. Judge Nunn was impartial, took significant time to review case law brought to his attention and gave well reasoned decisions on why he ruled the way he did. I wish I practiced more often in Kent County as he was a pleasure to work in front of.

A very good friend had him for a protection order and he was very involved and understanding of the situation. The problem was that he didn't pay enough attention to the facts of the case, where the respondent lied numerous times in charging documents and relied only on the respondent's family member for a ruling. Now my friend will not get to see his kids because his ex-wife has an order on him. The legal system failed this time. Still, he is better then most judges.

He was unprepared, inattentive and almost totally dismissive of answers from defendants and attorneys. He had agreed in chambers to a productive rehab process and sentence and then totally ignored it in favor of a harsher, far more punative sentence in court. He is inconsistent and can not be relied upon to be fair.
