This judge was very one sided and allowed the respondent to use evidence against the petitioner that wasn’t pertinent to the protective order. This judge dismissed a protective order that would have prevented further harassment and domestic abuse to the petitioner. There was a history of domestic violence (prior to this petition) and you would dismiss this order and consider this a custody related issue when the respondent entered my home uninvited and tried removing the child from his home? Such liability! There was such a lack of concern for the petitioner’s safety! Horrible Judge!

Not plaintiff friendly. Stay away if possible. Will hard cut medicals without defense providing a competing 10-104.

Our case was transferred to Reilly at the last minute as our scheduled judge had cases run long.

She granted a directed verdict for the defendants without any defense evidence whatsoever in the trial, AFTER the defendants had already ADMITTED they still owed a substantial sum of money. As far as I can tell, we were taking away from her lunch time. She couldn't wait to get out of the courtroom and was gone less than 30 seconds after ruling.

The circuit court judge who overturned her verdict had no kind words to say about her, and (thankfully) reversed everything.

Reilly cost about two extra years of litigation and God knows how much money with her mistakes. I pray I never get a case before her again.

I have had to go before this judge a few times, as well as a few people I know. She is a horrible person in general. After the plaintiff speaks, she cares nothing about the defense. In her eyes you are already guilty, even if you didn't do it.

this judge was a career prosecutor and is not very knowledgeable in civil matters, especially on the law. Used to look clueless at times, and was never sure why an attorney lodged an objection.

One of my favorite district court judges. She’s efficient, thorough and pleasant. She listens and treats everyone fairly. I look forward to going before her.

I’m going to start by saying - she gave me PBJ and a fine that was a bit higher than the minimum but I’m not mad about it. I thought she was just having a bad day, using her power to make others have a bad day as well. Until I saw the other reviews here and now I can confidently say I’ve never encountered a judge that was this rude. It’s a shame her new term just started, because she should not be on a district courts bench if this is how she behaves on a daily basis.

If a meaner and more pro-prosecution judge exists in the State of Maryland, I have not heard of them. Very pro-prosecution, very anti male.

Very pro-prosecution choice, former long time state's attorney. Does not even want to listen to pro se defendants. Should be removed from the bench.

Mean and incredibly pro-prosecution. She is a ridiculous choice out of the state's attorney's office and should never have been put on the bench. If you get this judge, pray a jury trial or ask for a continuance, just to get away from her. What a shame.

Judge Reilly is a fantastic judge. No B.S. She sees the real issues without being distracted by defense or prosecution tactics. We need more like her.

Very fair. Even tempered. Well reasoned, Good on the law. Will believe citizens over police if they are more believable. I rarely disagree with her final decisions. Tough sentences in violent crimes with injuries, but not i appropriately so.

Incredible anti-male bias and pro-prosecution bias. Another political choice out of the state's attorneys' office. Blatantly unfair to defendants.
