Civil Litigation - Private

I am glad to know she retired! One of the worst judges to handle civil matters where there is some law and facts to be analysed and not the regular schoolmarm type justice to correct disobedient children in the criminal system!

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: MD2207
She is a fairly slow-moving judge, who can be state-oriented in her decisions on guilt or innocence. Other than that, she is awesome! She is compassionate, understanding, and just a wonderful human being. She is like a nurturing grandmother, cheering the criminal defendants to make the appropriate changes and choices in their lives.

I feel that Judge Hantman was very fair. It is good to see a judge who understands that locking someone up serves no purpose if they are working to better themselves, are showing respect for the law and are motivated to change their life. She did come on the bench very very late, and asked defendant's to think about their guardian angles, which I found odd.
