An overall terrible judge. I was going through a divorce and covered my bases by filming and recording an abusive wife. I had my wife convicted in two different jurisdictions. As a result she falsified reports and claimed I was abusive. My attorney was on point and the states attorney was horrendous. Zero evidence against me and still convicted me. I appealed and the States attorney dropped all charges as they had no evidence and would not win in the higher court. How many innocent people went to jail because of this man's ignorance.

We bought over $100 in grocery’s at Walmart at one pack of chicken thighs did not scan worth $5.76 and was charged with theft, Judge Green called me a trade Thief!, was total accident, he did not care , the employee at Walmart stalks my daughter when we go there (Hampstead) I thought he was was a creep and confronted him , so he got back at me , now I have 2 years supervision probation, 40 hours community service and $100 fine

Judge Green imposed a temporary peace order against me, although my behavior did not meet ANY of the required criteria. He does not seem well educated in the subject matter. I agree with the other posters; he does not seem to have much knowledge of civil laws and seems too arrogant to want to bother educating himself on something that he should obviously be educated in. I cannot believe the man passed the bar.

He invoked a temporary peace order on me without considering the criteria for such an order. My case did not meet any of the criteria. He simply thought that the letter I wrote to my former boss was mean. The letter was not threatening, and there was no pattern, which means that there was no harassment. There was no stalking and obviously no rape or forcible imprisonment.

Agree with the split personality comments. He comes to the bench with a decision made and it usually favors whichever side he thinks is the underdog. Has odd courtroom rules. Can be nasty and condescending to counsel when he thinks he's being challenged, and since he's often wrong on basic legal principles he's often challenged. I avoid appearances before him whenever possible.

He has been outright nasty and condesending to me (an attorney) and rude and short with the public. He frequently raises his voice inappropriately, belittles attorneys, and is intimidating. By far, one of the worse dispositions in a judge I have ever encountered. I agree with one of the earlier post which said he makes up his mind prematurely and gets visably annoyed if you attempt to set forth a contradictory theory of the case.

Judge Green makes up his mind early and refuses to hear evidence to the contrary. He has a very low flashpoint.

Comment #: MD6244
VERY fair. Judge Green listens to both sides of each case and judges fairly and impartially. I can not imagine him behaving unfairly unless faced with a disrespectful defendant

The judge acted hostile toward my client throughout the hearing. He appeared not to understand the law on competency to stand trial.

Has a very good understanding of the rules of evidence, is not intimidated by blustering advocates and has the right temperament. Works with counsel for scheduling and is intellectually curious.

Brian Green is a very kind and understanding person. But, he is fair and weighs the evidence. I can't imagine him being nasty as a previous person stated. I've known him 17-18 years and I've never seen him display an unprofessional attitude.

Nasty at times, polite at times. This guy has a split personality problem. Smart with criminal matters. Not very bright with civil matters.
