Prejudges cases and is unprepared as to the law. Wants to be admired for his acumen but does not get the facts right.

Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:1.9
Comments:
In our trial, he favored the large firm. He made up his mind before the trial began, and he seemed to try to find a way to justify the result he wanted to achieve.

Very poor. I found the judge to be one sided. When Defendant brought up things that had nothing to do with case, he would not stop them. Would not let plaintiff give argument.

I found the judge to be one sided. Giving consideration to only one party in the dispute.

Comments:
Judge Nicklas was an experienced attorney and mediator who brings his years of practice experience to the bench. He understands the what it is like to be an attorney bringing a case to court and the difficulties that can entail. He lets counsel try their cases, keeping in mind the rules that control the conduct of a trial, and is extremely concerned as well for the litigants and that they have a fair trial and appropriate outcome.
