Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:9.9
Comments:
I found myself in front of Hon. Thomas J. Love for a small town code violation with no lawyer. Despite my poor planing and lack of forethought I found him to be fair and honest. I really appreciated the sound advice he provided and how he treated everyone who was present in the court room. I will not see him again under that situation but will always carry his advice and model of fairness with me.

He is now retired and less punctual. He discussed contributory negligence & made it clear that he thinks it is antiquated & unfair. Judgment for P not unexpected. Award was a little high, but not outrageous.
