Seen this judge make some of the most terrible decisions on people cases! Temperament of a woman for sure! Don’t see how he’s even qualified to be in anybody courtroom

This man was the absolute worst judge that I’ve ever encountered. Went off of his emotions and ordered me to pay for things I had no business paying for! It changed my life for the worst for almost 2 yrs until I was able to get back in front of another judge. She seen all of his mistakes and she quickly changed this to what it should’ve been the whole time! Don’t see how he was able to even become a judge that makes irrational decisions just like the women that play victim in his courtroom

Still one of the worst Baltimore judge's to be sitting on the bench. A little too prissy and doesn't handle his courtroom well. He's always looking to clear up his docket and make life easier for himself, to the detriment of litigants and their rights. Poor temperament for the judiciary. District court should be his ceiling, considering his limited capabilities.

I'm pretty sure this guy shouldn't be wearing a robe and sitting on the bench in judgment. As other raters have observed, his image masks a penchant for picking one litigant quickly and closing his mind. He has all the traits one would NOT want a judge to have, other than putting on a clean-cut front. Baltimore City courts will always remain a cesspool as long as judges like this populate the bench.

terrible judge. re: the 74 yr old woman this is a similar case with another lady. even tho the defendant agreed that he had violated the terms and there was written proof that there was a violation of terms, W.D. ruled in favor of the child molester/s. offender who still felt he did no wrong. makes you wonder if he should still be on the bench -- e.g. case brock turner and aron persky

small claims court for damages done by Town and Country Chimney, who did not show up for court on
6/19/19. Judge Dunn accused me of asking for the
wrong size liners, accused me of trying to get funds
for other home improvements, said I was not credible,
refused to look at or let me read the time line.
My cost for repairing damages caused by Town & County will be between $8,000 & $14,000. I was devastated by how I was treated as an almost 74 yr single woman I felt taken advantage of by the contractor
and then I felt attacked by the judge , I had prepared for
this court date which had been changed three times but
was unable to present my experience. MHIC and Lawyer Jill Snyder said Town and Country had a very high number of claims against them. I wanted them held accountable so that they don't scam another senior
single woman. When the judge first entered the court I had felt relieved, he appeared intelligent and focused, until his misunderstanding of the problem and unwillingness to listen to me.

Love this guy! Efficient. Friendly. Smart. What more could you ask for? There are probably about 6-7 judges that I always hope to see on the bench when I go to the City for court, and he is definitely one of them.

Despite comments from the one other reviewer, I found J. Dunn to be out of his depth on the bench. The squeaky clean, Doogie Houser act he puts on is not a good fit for a serious judge hearing serious matters. He quickly becomes one-sided toward one litigant.
This guy should be terminal at the district court level.

Tried a case in front of Judge Dunn for the first time. He made both sides file memorandums of law, which he obviously read and understood completely before taking the bench. He seems smart, level-headed and prepared. Handled even the smallest cases before him as if they were much larger Circuit Court cases. He gave a long and detailed decision. Only downside is that his civil judgments seem to be on the lower side, especially considering he was a plaintiff’s attorney in private practice.
