Worst judge I have ever seen. I witnessed the State Police Lie on the stand and couldn't produce any evidence and Judge Galloway tried to give this guy 50 yrs in jail. Should be disbarred.

I felt like the deck was stacked against me I was there to protect a child from neglect and abuse i guess if I had hired his golf buddy as my attorney I may have had a chance to help this child ...He referred to the respondent's attorney on a first name basis It was like The Good old Boys and Girls Club Money talked and justice walked !!! It has a price in his court room A steep price the life of a child !!!No regard at all I believe I was told neglect was proven but was advised that corporal punishment by a drunk was acceptable!!! in my opinion he can be brought and sold Cheap !!!

I sat as the Foreman of a Jury in a three person murder trial with Judge Galloway. I found him to be professional, attentive, fair, and a judge with an appropriate sense of humor. He was also extremely kind to one of the jurors who was clearly excessively stressed by her selection to the jury. This is a very good Judge.

Judge Galloway tries to be fair.
He is a smart jurist, and can see through any kind of con.
If you want a bleeding heart, he is not the one.

Comments:
Judge Galloway completely ignored my rights as a victim. A murder victim's family has a right to be in the courtroom, even if the defense attorney doesn't like it. I do agree and accept that he should be allowed to rule unilaterally on issues of safety and protection from threats in an emergency for very short periods of time. But, when the State's Attorney requests a hearing to argue the false statements made in the defense attorney's protective order request, he should have agreed to hold a hearing instead of denying the motion for a hearing. When the victim's family has their own attorney request a hearing, he should not have denied it a second time.

Overall, Judge Galloway was nothing short of cartoon character. After watching Judge Galloway nod off during testimony only to be awoken by the clerk dropping a book, to putting in eye drops (again during testimony), to walking into and sitting with the bailiff during a related defendant's trial, to never starting when scheduled, to never ruling on motions for months, I would recommend that if you are the victim of a crime, do what ever you can to get the trail moved to another Judge.
