I am still in shock from what this judge did to my wife. He is totally one-sided. We never had a chance at trial.

Plaintiff's judge all the way. Court of Special Appeals overturned his ruling. Judge Boynton is a former police officer who behaves the same way on the bench. Not very bright.

Have handled several cases before Judge Boynton, some wins and some losses. Have only the highest regard for him as a judge. He should be in the top 10.

This person is a shame for the USA Court. In my case he did not allow my witness to speak only plaintiff side. He did not grant nothing to me and he went against the law because he did not follow it and the S.A. He is discrenated and racist

Court records can establish a conflict of interest and abuse of his authority to support ongoing Illegal conduct and civil conspiracy by attorneys and former law clerks to enrich them, and perhaps himself, without regard to the facts and evidence before him, the law, and his oath of office to uphold the constitution.

I must echo my colleague's recent comments: I have no idea where negative comments are coming from. I have never met Judge Boynton outside of court. I have been in front of him a half dozen times and have also watched him adjudicate scores of matters. I have lost in front of him and I have won. I can attest he is extremely fair and above board. He is not afraid of the big firms. He sticks to the rules instead of treating them like guidelines, which some judges in MoCo seem to do. I'd take him any day of the week to judge cases for my clients whether I'm prosecuting or defending a civil case. He's definitely in the top 3-4 judges over in that court house.

How can this judge really think he can hear a case from John M. Quinn's office? His sister / relative is a partner in Quinn's law firm. Someone please explain to me why MC judges have no concept of ethics or understanding of conflicts. Do they really think they are untouchable or just purely corrupt or ignorant?

He did not pay any attention to my case, he was always in plaintiff side. He did not listen at at all my case and it is the second time he does the same. I have no hope with this Judge.......

I must agree with the other comments regarding Judge Boynton. He was a former prosecutor, and apparently still has the mindset of such. He was utterly pro-plaintiff in a civil case, and had no interest in crucial evidence. It appeared that he had clearly made up his mind prior to the start of the hearing, and did not demonstrate even basic knowledge of the law.

I have no idea where these negative comments could possibly be coming from. I just completed a two-week jury trial before Judge Boynton. He was very well versed in the law, particularly the rules of evidence. He was probably the most patient and respectful trial judge I have ever seen. He allowed the lawyers to make and finish their arguments and was beyond respectful to both sides. No matter which way he ruled, he gave you a detailed and thoughtful reason for the ruling. He allowed the lawyers to try their case. He is exactly the type of judge that every attorney should want presiding over a case. A terrific judge.

Judge Boynton handled an appeal from the District Court in a complex (the District Court judge wrote a multi-page opinion) real estate matter that our side won at trial below. We lost the appeal but Judge Boynton was fair and even-handed. The complaints here are so histrionic that I find myself wondering about them.

It's hard to find a more biased judge in Montgomery County than Judge Boynton. Not well-versed in the actual law, he makes no effort in even pretending to be impartial.

Comments:
Judge Boynton is completely pro-plaintiff, and went out of his way to exclude vital evidence in cases. His opinion was overturned by the Court of Special Appeals. He was mandated to change his opinion, but never did. He's a disgrace.

Comments:
Judge Boynton was willing to make a decision in a post-trial civil litigation matter in which he did not even participate in the trial. He had no business rendering a post-trial opinion because he was not the trial judge, and did so without even taking into account all the evidence. He did not even bother to look up the law on whether he had the right to render such an opinion. The opinion was so blatantly biased and one-sided, it is now hard to see him as a neutral.
