This judge shows a consistent anti-male bias, and while she may sometimes give a full hearing, her biases show through in some amazing judicial gymnastics. Responding to a comment below, Judge Savage does not hold everyone accountable. Certainly not the side she sides with.

Judge Savage is a strong advocate for children. She really cares for the health and well-being of my teenage niece.

She is thorough, asks the tough questions that are necessary for upholding justice. She brought warmth and care at every hearing. She understood that my niece was scared and intimidated by the court-setting, and was able to speak in layman's terms to reach out to our family.

I agree with an earlier commentator -- we need more judges like Judge Savage!

Was 45 minutes late to court. Let the other side ramble the entire case, but did not allow cross-examination. Other side did not even testify or provide evidence as to a critical element of complaint. Still held for the other side despite a complete lack of evidence. Maybe this was because she did not allow closing arguments. Terrible judge

I honestly cannot figure how anyone would see this judge as fair or possessing an appropriate judicial temperament. Apparently, others have had better days with her, but I respectfully have not seen one of those days.

Savage does not belong on the bench. Denied me basic due process in refusing to allow me access to evidence proffered by the other side. Her theory was that it would somehow be unfair to the other side if I had the same color photos the other side put into evidence. MORONIC

She is close-minded, does not listen to the evidence, does not follow the law and is stupid to boot. She has no ability to sniff out a blatant liar. She does not belong on the bench. She is neither fair nor just. She presided over a total miscarriage of justice in my case.

Judge Sagave is thorough, having obviously read all the material submitted to her, including a "last-minute" response just two days prior to our hearing, and although ultimately ruling against my client in the short-term, she carefully considered all the issues raised. This is what is expected of a judge, and may ordinarily not be cause for any special recognition. However, after our hearing, Judge Sagave went above and beyond the call of duty, personally bringing an important discovery issue - the underlying issue then before her - to the attention of Judge Debelius and a Track 4 judge, which ultimately resulted in the case being specially assigned and the issue fully fleshed out in a timely manner. I think that was an extraordinary measure - something simple for her to do yet so profoundly out of the ordinary, showing that she cares enough about the lawyers and litigants who briefly appear before her to extend herself and refer the case on for the assistance it needs (not to mention saving untold thousands in attorney's fees and months of time that would be necessary in motions, etc.) We need more judges like Judge Savage!

Walking an alleged rapist, a MD High School Graduate known to be fluent in English, on his claim that he needed a translator, is worrisome. If guilty, he should not be free to prey again.

I have had several matters before Judge Savage. She is smart, polite, knows the law, applies the law to the facts and explains her rulings. No doubt she is one of the best judges on the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
