#1920, say what you like about about Judge Krauser. She is one thing: she gets the law right. In fact, she almost never gets the law wrong. She is also very smart. Her courtroom decorum is not her best quality, but I would take her any day, (rude, but smart) over an ignoramus like Wallace. I do not believe she is power-hungry. She is an equal-opportunity offender.

I personally feel that this is an outstanding judge. Everyone comments tahat she is rude, disrespectful, and alot of other comments. However, I find these characters in her to be great. I have a child (mental health patient) that went in front of her and the State (DSS) tried to sugar coat the case. The judge was not trying to hear that and wanted to do what was best for my child. I like that she is stern and concerned about others and what the real picture is instead of what everyone wants to sugar coat. Thanks to this judge my child is in the process of getting what she needs to get her better. So nasty she may be.....but that is what makes her a GREAT JUDGE!!!!

She is totally disrespectful. How can any one keep allowing her to do waht she does, I just don't understand it. She is very prejudical and nasty to attorneys in front of others. Something really needs to be done about her.

I have been practicing for some years and have been before a lot of judges, but have never been before Judge Krauser. She was the motion judge and the other side filed an emergency motion for an injunction. She failed to understand the facts, took the others lawyer's side who knew her and then issued an injunction without requiring a bond which is mandatory. i told her she had to require a bond to protect my clients and she told me to appeal the case and that would tie things up longer. I have never been treated with such disrespect and have a judge blatantly ignore the rules they are supposed to uphold.

Just look at all the comments. Even the good comments reflect that she is harsh, bad judge, bad temperment, abusive, horrid, dictator, etc. etc. etc. Judges like her beg for cameras in the courtroom where their biases and incompetence can be shown to the public. And most unfortunately, she is up for re-election this year and since no one is challenging the sitting judges, she will automatically be put back on the bench. This is truly a shame. We can do better than her. She should withdraw her name and resign. The local newspapers fail to highlight the dysfunctional judiciary system in P.G. County -- and they overlook the bad judges like her. We need a recall election for her. I could not that a judge would be allowed to speak to court litigants in her court in such a disrespectful way. Or maybe she just has a narcissistic personality.

#1468, I have posted before. But I'll make this rebuttal on her behalf. Like you, I have won and lost before her. Like you, I have born the brunt of her fire. She is a very good judge, and a very smart one. She does sound harsh sometimes, but she does it to everyone. You mentioned that her husband is a judge, but you forgot to mention that her mother was also a judge. Frankly, I don't think that the vitriol towards her is well-deserved.

Bad judge. Bad temperament. Abusive to litigants. Not smart. Not thoughtful. Not analytical. I've won cases with her, so this isn't sour grapes. She just plain shouldn't be a judge. She wasn't even a good lawyer. She's a judge because her husband was the leader of the Democratic party in Maryland and called in a favor. She had no other qualifications for judicial appointment. For that matter, neither did her husband, but he got himself appointed as an appellate judge. His appointment garnered some criticism at the time. He, on the other hand, is a much better judge. The fact that she and her husband are on the bench is shameful.

I found this idiot (lack of better term)to be very rude, incompetent and to have total disregard for the law. Its almost as if she wants you to appeal her bird brain decessions/rulings.. I had the awful experience of seeing her incompetence first hand. She's the reason why neptotism should not be allowed in the judicial system.

In my opinion, Judge Krauser is the worst judge ever to sit in any court of law in Maryland, second only to Judge Nalley in Charles County. In my opinion she is rude, abusive to lawyers and litigants and utterly lacking in judicial temperament. She should be asked to resign.

It is insulting to everyone to have a judge like this on the bench. To not allow a litigant to speak or reply to a question, to humiliate them without knowing the full story, to dismiss them like they are not important. If someone requests an emergency hearing they should be heard and treated with respect! How is she still on the bench?
