Judge McGuinness is a hard line actor, who though he appears to have some appealing qualities, e.g. mustache and glasses are amusing, is convinced the police can do no wrong. He needs to realize that the cops use excessive force in the Boston suburbs, just like they do in Chicago. Then, they lie about it. Wake up, Your Honor.

This judge is a narcissist; his style is abrasive, and dismissive. He seems smart enough, but there is more to being a good judge than that.

This one is a smart cookie, knows law, (commercial, civil) sticks to law and has a savvy delivery method when he rules.
