Comments:
First of all let me state that it is readily apparent that the prior comment by the alleged "Civil litigation Gov't" attorney who gave this judge a 1.8 rating appears to be the same individual who just ten minutes later on the same day gave Judge Scurti a bad rating, using identical language and making an identical complaint about the judge's "ideology", despite listing themselves as a "criminal defense" attorney in the other commentary. Sir or Madam I declared thee "busted". Now on to Judge Etheridge. She is by far one of the rising stars of the District Court bench. While her last job before being appointed was as a State's Attorney, before that she worked for and was mentored by the universally beloved Judge Robert Steinberg. She has done her best to emulate him. On the bench she is fair, even handed and courteous to everyone. She knows the rules of civil procedure and her years as a State's Attorney have given her a great understanding of the rules of evidence. She is not biased towards any particular group but instead approaches each case afresh, a blank slate if you will. A litigant or attorney could not ask for more, or get assigned to a better judge. As for being her hard working, despite the prior review giving a 1 for industriousness, one of her colleagues just mentioned to me the other day that Judge Etheridge, who had finished her docket, and could have gone home, stayed a took some of his cases to assist his heavy load. Again, a really great judge on her way to superstardom.

Civil Litigation - Govt.

Rating:1.8
Comments:
This judge has an obvious bias towards the plaintiff in civil matters. She displays an apparent difficulty applying the law in civil cases in favor of her own personal ideology. This is compounded by her obvious lack of knowledge of and experience with the rules of civil procedure.
