I plead "guilty with explanation." I told my side of the story and the judge decided that the total I owed would be INCREASED over the listed amount on the citation. ?! So spending time in court didn't help- on the contrary he increased the fine. I am in shock.

Arrogant judge who rules as he thinks is best...NOT according to the law.

He did a good job at listening to testimony from an individual who falsely accused me and filed a peace order against me and concluded that what he said contradicted Himself and what he put in his complaint. I did not even have to testify to dispute or impeach his testimony. Thank you your honor.

I have to come to the defense of Judge Wolfe here. He is one of the finest judges on the district court. He listens to the evidence without making assumptions and bases his findings on the evidence presented. He is fair in all stages of the case and only asks that attorneys be prepared. He belongs on the circuit court or higher, although I would hate to see him leave the district court. He would be taking a lot of justice and fairness with him.

he is a single worse judge I have ever seen Ever, he doesn't have any logic sense, and I am sure there is something wrong with him and he is dangerous for public to be a judge, this court needs to take some times to choose & hires normal judges, not bunch of dinosaurs!!!! and I will take my opinion about him to higher powers, you should do the same.

Refused to give a continuance, months in advance, even with providing him with a copy of the travel itinerary, including the airline tickets. No idea why he is on the bench.

Makes lawyers jump through hoops for his amusement. Makes lawyers feel small even though he often has trouble understanding the most basic concepts of contract law. So biased he should be removed from the bench. Being the administrative judge is a joke.

I have been before Judge Wolfe a few times, and I have never felt comfortable that he understood the concepts being presented to him. I had a case where he found for the defendant, essentially overruling direct appellate precedent. He was appealed and reversed quickly by the Circuit Court. On another matter, he took a trial under advisement, but did not issue a judgment for 8 months. This is District Court! Unbelievable.

Fairly even handed at trial but generally pretty rough on defendants at sentencing.

like the previous commenter says, refuses continuances that most judges grant and moving the docket has much more value than the discussion or litigation of any fact or legal isssue of any kind.

all issues that require substantial thought and ruling or work on the admin side may be given a good consideration, but the judge will make it seem like any actual work he is doing to rule on cases or do his administrative duties is a terrible imposition on him and that everyone around him is somehow an aggravation.

He is a terrible administrative judge. I wonder if he ever reads the pleadings that he rules on. I know of no attorneys that believe he is running the courthouse properly. He just moves cases on. There are no continuances, and no attorneys' fees are ever awarded to plaintiffs, even when the contract allows for them.
