In a perfect world, every judge would be Judge Martin. When he takes the bench he has read and understands everything in at issue. Repeatedly, he has known the case better than one or more or the attorneys in the case.

Zero tolerance of stupid or less than candid attorneys; my kind of judge! He can cut to the real issue as fast as any judge on the bench. I suggest that the negative reviews were by the stupid or less than candid attorneys that we all hate to have in a case.

Judge Martin, rushes and bullies both attorneys & litigants through strained and stressful custody battles. As if the details do not matter or just simply tired of his job, he's attentive to very little said, his mannerisms very presumptuous and constantly cuts off every testimony including all important, factual best interest & historical matters of the children. The majority of spoken words seam to be his overbearing inaccurate assumptions and opinions with what can only be described as an obvious emotional pre-determined bias for mothers. If this Judge is the status-quo in Maryland's child custody matters, we should all pray for the state of affairs with fatherless children in Baltimore County. I'll stick with Anne Arundel County courts!

This is a man who listens, who cares about getting it right, and does. I have tried hundreds of jury trials and he is among the best judges that I have ever seen. He is neither arrogant nor hasty.

This judge decided my case based on emotion and not on hard evidence or the facts. I had all the paperwork and a voicemail to prove that the plaintiffs' allegations were false, and yet this judge sided with them one hundred per cent. He has refused to do a sit-down interview with me, or even answer the simple question of how he could believe someone's testimony that they were unhappy with the work that I did for them after a voicemail surfaced with them stating the exact opposite. This judge also made a huge legal blunder and let a drunk driver get away with a DUI. Fortunately, the Superior Court unanimously overruled him. Stick with the easy family law cases, Judge Martin. You don't seem to make the right call outside that sphere.

Even-tempered, attentive and listens carefully. Makes good decisions in tough custody/family law cases. Very experienced in family law matters, and does what's best for the minor children.
